Guest Lecture of Hugo Krawczyk

On the 20th December we organize a Guest Lecture given by Hugo Krawczyk title “Can a Public Blockchain Keep a Secret?”. The talk is inspired by the recent publication link.

About the speaker: Hugo is a member of the Algorand Foundation research group and responsible for the Algorand Centers of Excellence (ACE) Program and other academic research initiatives. As a cryptographer, he is best known as a main cryptography designer for numerous Internet Security standards and algorithms, and for his contributions to theoretical and applied cryptography. Hugo has been recognized as a Fellow of the International Association of Cryptologic Research (IACR) and as an IBM Fellow, and awarded the 2015 RSA Conference Award for Excellence in the Field of Mathematics, the 2018 Levchin Prize for Contributions to Real-World Cryptography, the 2019 NDSS conference Test of Time Award, and multiple IBM awards including two Corporate Awards.
